Who Am I?

That’s the question, isn’t it?

But really, who occupies this body?

During a morning meditation I’d done off and on over the years, the meditation guide instructed me to put my hands on my heart and say “thank you.” Over time I began to say: “thank you, thank me. Thank me, thank you.” I was envisioning my higher self thanking my personality self, and my personality self thanking my higher self.

If one asks, “where is my mind?” then, who is doing the asking? Who is observing the mind? The observer, the witness, the neutral ascended being, the higher Self, the spirit Self.

Thus begins the acknowledgment that I AM.

I am so much more than my mind. I am so much more than my story. Yet, I have a story because we all have stories. And for some reason I’m reluctant to tell mine. But, check back and maybe I’ll update this post. : )
