Why I Am Here

I embarked on a path of healing after a situation where I had a very hard time speaking my truth for a basic need of mine, which caused a deep emotional response of dread, anxiety, and shame that I had to speak my truth or else “crash” from exhaustion/ overstimulation.

I declared that year “the year of mental health,” when I finally met with a therapist, Julie. I had searched for a therapist who had an understanding of the spiritual nature of life.  I have been so inspired by Julie and the miracles I’ve experienced with her guidance and support, that I developed an interest in all things about the psycho-spiritual human experience through transpersonal psychology, exploration of consciousness, mysticism, energy healing, shamanism, plant intelligence, dream work, Buddhist and Vedic traditions and the connections between these traditions and Christianity, and beyond.  Because of this, I’ve long been compelled to offer potent healing to others.

Life events in general, but particularly parenting and running a business with my spouse, provided further opportunity to see and intentionally unravel the thick overlay of conditioning that was preventing me from living life fully in my true nature. The unravelling I have experienced is what I am called to provide to others.

A conscious lawyering coach suggested to me, 9 years into my law practice, that I “take a sabbatical” from practicing law after I shared that I didn’t feel I was showing up on any level - the most disturbing of which was my role as parent. I highly value meaningful connection with my children, and my plate was too full to show up as a peaceful parent.

Months and years of winding down my law practice; after iterations of “dear universe, what is next for me? What is my offering?” and receiving an answer quite thankfully (homeschooling my children); then to ask again, “what is next for me?” then, receiving no clear answers, having to remember that I must accept this transitional period of time.  Over and over again this cycle has spun.  Patience, trust the process, have faith that I’m doing what’s best for my family and me.

In a moment of the universe answering my question of "What is next? What is my offering?” I came across a system that not only teaches the healing modalities I have experienced, but the system is based upon transpersonal psychology, energy medicine, applied shamanism, buddhist psychology, and hypnotherapy. I am quite excited to have this opportunity because I am passionate about the work.
